Privacy notice
Version 2026-10-06. Kumusta Home is a care journal, not a medical service or a medical device.
What we keep
- For family members: your email address and your role in the family.
- For caregivers: your name and phone number, and a record of your work for each family.
- For the parent being cared for: the voice notes, photos, transcripts and English translations the caregivers send, the medication list, dose taps, flags and corrections, and the weekly updates.
- Which pages and recordings are opened, and the “useful / not useful” taps on weekly updates. This tells us whether the journal is helping. It is not shared with anyone.
- The date and version of the terms each person agreed to.
Who can see it
Only people the family invites. The family owner manages who is invited. Relatives can read the record. Caregivers see what they need for their work and lose access to the family's record the moment they are removed. We look at a family's record only to run the service, for example to review a weekly update before it is sent during the pilot, or when the family asks for help.

What we do not do
- No advertising, no tracking tools, and no selling or sharing of anyone's information.
- No diagnosis. The journal shows what the caregiver said and the patterns in it.
- No camera or video feeds.
How long we keep it, and your choices
- We keep the record while the family uses Kumusta Home.
- The family can stop at any time. Caregivers then stop recording and the weekly updates stop.
- The family can ask for a copy of everything: notes, translations, recordings, photos, medications and updates.
- The family can delete the record. It disappears from the app at once and is removed from our systems within 7 days.
- Caregivers keep a record of their work for each family: the city, dates, number of notes, and the family's reference if one was given. It contains no health details.
- Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act you may ask to see, correct or delete information about you, or object to how it is used.
